Naked Palette 3 Review!! (:

Hi guys, first off I want to start by saying Merry Christmas to you all! I hope Santa was good to you all this year. I thought that I would review one of the items I got for Christmas today, and that is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette.

I'm going to start this review by saying that I have both the original Naked and the Naked 2 palette and I absolutely LOVE them! The colors are so versatile and they are the only palettes that I use on a regular basis. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they are worth it...And the Naked 3 palette really was no exception.

First off, the colors are gorgeous! All twelve of the colors are exclusive to the Naked 3 palette and they all have a pinky rosy tint to them. Blackheart, which is a black with red glitter, is my absolute fave! However, they are all gorgeous, super pigmented (except for one), and they all look good together. Therefore you can create so many different combos; so it's super fun to play with. However the one color that is not very pigmented is Dust, it is a gorgeous color, but it works best paired over another color or over a white base.

Next, is the packaging. I love that it is in a hard case. The original Naked palette has a soft case and the letters are peeling off and it has makeup stains on it, so I'm glad they stuck with a hard case. It's more durable and it just looks sleeker and more professional. I also like the rippled effect along with the gold lettering so it's different from the Naked 2. Another plus is the larger mirror, so it's easier to see your whole eye when applying makeup.

I also like that you get a full sized brush when you purchase this palette. This particular brush is double sided with a  flat shader brush on one end and a thicker shadow brush on the other. And for those of you who know nothing about this brand. They have fabulous high quality brushes, so you can definitely use these and you don't have to toss them in the trash. Another freebie you get with this palette, is a small sample of each of the Primer Potions.

One of the down sides of this palette is the price. It is a little pricey coming in at $52.00. However, the quality is fantastic and it will last such a long time. Not to mention that so many different looks can be created.

I definitely recommend this palette to anybody who loves to experiment with makeup, so I hope this helped you guys out! As always thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of your Christmas with your families. Love you all!!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Review

Okay guys, so I've realized that I've been really heavy on you guys about the reason why I haven't been blogging. Not to mention that this is a girly blog, hence the name, and I haven't really posted anything girly. So I've decided that I will post a review on the concealer in the Maybelline Fit Me line.

And I will give the photo credit to target.com. (:

Okay, so first off I really really really like the foundation in the Fit Me line. The shade blended nicely with my skin, and I like Maybelline products in general, but I did not like this concealer for several reasons.

The first reason is I have extremely pale skin especially since it's winter, so I bought the lightest shade which is number 10, and it was still too dark for me and had too much of a yellow tone. This was extremely disappointing because as I said before I really liked the Fit Me foundation, which was also number 10 and it blended perfectly, so it makes no since to have concealer darker than the coinciding foundation shade, because your concealer is supposed to be two shades lighter than your skin tone.

The second reason is it stung when I put it on! I used it to cover some spots on my face as well as my under eye circles, and it made my skin burn. I would have understood if it only made the under eye area burn, because it's extremely sensitive, but everywhere that I applied the concealer too was burning. Even after I tried to rub it in. Which brings me to my final reason for hating the product.

The final reason is that it was practically impossible to blend! This was more than likely because it was too dark in the first place, but still I ended up just washing it off and going without concealer for the day.

Overall I was extremely disappointed with this product. I really wanted it to be a good one. As I said before I really like the foundation in the Fit Me line, and I wanted the concealer to be just as good, but it was awful. However, I still love Maybelline products in general and I will continue to use them. In fact the concealer I'm using now is Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radiant and I really like it so far, and I will make a review on it once I use it a few more times.

I hope this review was helpful to you guys, so let me know if it was. And if you have any products that you would like me to review then please leave them in the comments and I will try to get to as many of them as I can. I love trying new products! (:

Update to Why I Haven't Been Blogging Post

Okay guys, so I did a post a few weeks ago, and I explained why I decided not to blog for awhile, but I decided that I would update you guys on the situation. So for those of you who haven't seen the previous post I will fill you in first.

Basically one of my friends went missing a little over a month ago, and I decided to give up blogging for awhile. It didn't feel right to blog about trivial things like TV shows and movies when somebody I know was missing, so that's why I gave it up. Now I want to go ahead and say that by no means am I gonna start regularly blogging, but I figured that I should at least update you guys and  assure you all that I will eventually resume blogging on a regular basis. So here we go.

My friend is still missing, and last Sunday made it a whole month. There are no leads as to where he could possibly be, and nobody has seen or heard from him since. That is about all I have to update you guys with. I'm still not ready to start blogging on a regular basis yet, but hopefully I will be soon.

Here is his official missing poster:

Also if you guys could please keep him and his family in your prayers that he is safe and will be found soon I would greatly appreciate it. And feel free to share this post if you would like.

Reason I Haven't Been Blogging Lately

So, I know that I promised you guys that I would be more consistent with my blogging. And I realize that I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I do have a reason. I was going to blog about the season finale of Cheer Perfection, but I just couldn't do it. I honestly don't know when I will blog again, so I thought I would give an explanation.

One of my friends went missing and he has been for over three weeks now. We weren't close and we only talked a couple of times, but I don't want anybody I know to go missing. I decided to give up blogging for awhile, because it seems wrong to talk about trivial things like tv shows when somebody I know is missing.

But don't worry I will start to blog again eventually. And until then I ask that you guys keep him and his family in your prayers that he is safe and will be found soon.

Cheer Perfection Rant

Okay guys, so I think that from now on I'm just going to say what I think about the Cheer Perfection episodes on my blog and linking it to Twitter that way I'm not blowing up my followers timelines. Because trust me; I usually have a lot to say after an episode. I just can't help myself with all of the drama that goes on between the coaches and the moms. And if you don't like what I have to say about it then don't read this post, so here we go. (:

I don't think that Andrea, as much as I love her quotes, should have become President over the Team Moms simply because she volunteered. But I also don't think that Ann should have gotten it either. If she can't handle being Team Mom; then how is she going to be able to handle the responsibility of being over all of the Team Moms. I also would like to know why Michelle even cares who the President of the Team Moms is, if she isn't a Team Mom then it's not like she has to answer to them. I also don't get Alisha; one minute she's upset because the moms are fighting, but then she comes up with ideas that she knows will cause even more drama and tension. Even Shannon doesn't like the idea of Andrea being the President, because apparently "somebody has lost their fricking fracking mind." And besides we all know that Shannon is the newest member to hop on this "Team Bonnie" bandwagon, so if Shannon doesn't like it then it probably wasn't a good idea in the firstplace. Not to mention that I could feel the tension in the room when Andrea overstepped Ann and got the posterboard for Alsiha. Although I will say that Ann does need to get over the Fab Five competition thing and do the job which she volunteered to do. It's not like Alisha asked her to make the poster.

Next I don't really understand why there's a Team Bonnie and a Team Ann. They both act the exact same way. They're both manipulative, Bonnie's just sneakier about it. I think I would rather be Team Ann. At least she's up front and straightforward. Plus her insults are a lot better than the word "Blondie."

But I don't want to be completely negative. Youth Silver is looking really good. Yes, they do need to tighten up and be cleaner especially in stunts and tumbling, but that can be fixed. Although I don't think that it's right for one squad member to blame another squad member for messing up. Yes, I'm talking about Abby, who was told that Youth Silver was going to lose, because of her. First off the teammate who said that was far from perfect, and her stunts didn't always hit either. Especially in practice when she spent more time sitting out of her stunts than standing up. But when Abby starts crying everybody writes it off as her being upset, because she messed up, when in reality she was more than likely crying, because she was told that she was going to cause the team to lose.

I don't want to be completely negative about the parents either. Senior Gray finally had their first performance, and surprisingly they did really well. Considering that RD decided to quit coaching them since Alisha wouldn't stop trying to be the coach. Even though even after RD decided to actually join the parents team, Alicia, still continued to coach. But anyways all of the stunts stayed in the air and there were some impressive tumbling passes. Even Alicia threw a couple of backhandsprings. So the moms actually ended up doing something productive this episode! (:

So that's my rant on the latest episode of Cheer Perfection, I hope you guys liked it. Watch it on Wednesdays at 10/9 Central on TLC.
